FILM NOSTALGIA AND COVER DESIGN
This month I went back to my true love, movies. Growing up I would watch anything and everything (except horror movies). Criterion Collection films always indicated a degree of quality and generally exhibited beautifully crafted packaging and design. The style deviated from the normal mass marketing from any of the films original release. I appreciated that fact then and I appreciate it now. These designs are a tribute to Criterion Collection and the magic of movie making. During this months challenge, I explored some new photo manipulation techniques, but really strove to capture what I felt was the core theme or iconic scene from each movie.
RULES
DAY 87 TO 116
Below are the rules/themes I tried to stick to for this months challenge.
- Films would be designed with Criterion Collection style
- Avoid using cover designs currently existing from the selected film (or alter existing into something new)
- Spend approximately 1 to 1.5 hours per design
- Limit content to title of the film, the director, and actors (optional)

DAY 87 TO 116
So that's another thirty down. Comment, share, critique. Again, if you have a challenge that you created yourself, I'd love to hear about it and follow your progress as well.
Be back in another 30.
